Prime Minister Gaston Browne says Antigua & Barbuda will lobby and pushback against a proposed US bill targeting Cuban healthcare workers.

He notes that the recent bill introduced by Republican Senator Rick Scott which classifies Cuba’s humanitarian assistance as “human trafficking” seeks to extend punitive measures against countries accepting this medical assistance.

Cuban FM denounces United States' lies about medical missions

Havana, Apr 29 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez denounced on Wednesday that the United States repeats 'despicable lies against international medical cooperation programs' of the island.

On his Twitter account, the foreign minister said that the U.S. Department of State is intensifying the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba, and insists on slandering the solidarity aid that it provides to several countries.

For the design and manufacturing this team used recoverable material from obsolete equipment. Working on this project was Dr. V. George, Biomed- J. Prince, Biomed- Yovani Zarazola and Biomed-Oscar Vargas. This team continues supporting the MSJMC frontline staff.
