116 irregular migrants return from the United States.

In compliance with bilateral migration agreements, this Thursday, February 19, the second flight from the United States carrying 116 irregular migrants (88 men and 28 women) arrived at José Martí International Airport.

With this operation, the total number of people returned to Cuba in the first months of the year reaches 302.

Cuban authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to regular, safe, and orderly migration, while also reiterating the danger and life-threatening risks posed by illegal departures from the country.
