Pretoria, October 6, 2020.- We proudly highlight the achievements of this brigade, which to date, has conducted more than 50,000 consultations, saved more than 2,500 lives, and been involved in investigations as part of the COVID-19 strategy to combat. Thanks to the Cuban doctors, this brother country has for the first time specialists in areas such as neonatology and oncology.
An additional group of Cuban health professionals arrived in Eswatini on August 19, in response to the country's government's request to assist in the national efforts against the COVID19 pandemic, the worst health danger the world has faced in the 21st century.
Our doctors in Eswatini, combatants of our great Army in White Coats, demonstrate with their daily example that for Cuban health professionals there will never be language barriers, obstacles or dangers that stop their work.
