The member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Minister of Foreign Relations, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, highlighted that in this year 2022 the strengthening of ties between Cuba and its nationals abroad has been evident.
He explained in his Twitter account that this was confirmed in the business and investment panel with Cubans residing abroad, at the Havana International Fair (Fihav 2022); at the regional meeting in Europe and at national meetings in 14 countries.
"Our compatriots residing abroad have been protagonists of emotional days in which they fervently demanded Cuba's right to live "better without the blockade." The bridges of love and solidarity erected are already indestructible. We will continue working," the Chancellor said on the social network.
Recently, within the scope of the 38th edition of FIHAV, the Cuban Government ratified the will that its residents abroad can invest in the country and participate in the economic development of the nation, the Cuban News Agency specified.
In this context, it was reiterated that Cuba has never put up barriers in this regard, only the US blockade and laws such as the Helms-Burton impose restrictions.
Likewise, in the month of November, the German city of Berlin hosted the regional meeting of Cubans residing in Europe, in which the delegates discussed actions to support the socioeconomic development of their homeland and counteract the siege of Washington.
