35th Anniversary of the establishment of Cuba-Australia relations

Canberra, 31 January 2024. Diplomatic relations between Cuba and Australia were established on 31 January 1989 so, today they reach their 35th anniversary.

Cooperation ties between both countries have been strengthened over the years.

They have exchanged and advanced not only in diplomatic matters, but also in the education, health, sports, biotechnology, tourism, mining and oil areas.

On this 35th anniversary, the Embassy of Cuba in Australia ratifies the willingness to continue working to consolidate cooperative relations between both States.
