The 57th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Vietnam is celebrated in Ulan Bator.

Ulaanbaatar, December 23, 2017. The Ambassadors of the Republic of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción and of the R. S. of Vietnam Doan Thi Huong, commemorated this morning in the city of Ulan Bator the 57th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries. Present at the celebration were former Mongol ambassadors who worked for a few years in Cuba and Vietnam, the Deputy Director General of the Department of America, the Middle East and Africa of the Mongolian Chancellor D. Ganbold, as well as the President of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party Enkhbayar.
Both ambassadors highlighted in their words the deep relationship of friendship and brotherhood that unites the two countries that never abandoned their history and have been faithful followers of the ideals and guidance of their heroes. The celebration of this anniversary served also to pay homage to the figures of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and the founding leader of the Asian nation Ho Chi Min, which are fundamental pillars in history and the close relationship in the political, economic - commercial sphere and cooperation that both nations enjoy today.

Cubans and Vietnamese residents in Mongolia also participated in the meeting and enjoyed the traditional foods and music of both countries. (EmbaCuba Mongolia).
