November 25, 2023.- The members of the 60th Anniversary delegation of the Finland-Cuba Association have carried out an intense agenda of activities after their arrival on the Caribbean Island. The tour began with a visit to Finca Marta, located in the town of Caimito, an example of a family and ecologically sustainable farm. The founder of the space Fernando Funes offered a warm welcome to the Finnish friends, with whom he discussed cooperation ideas.
Later, the delegation visited the special school "Solidarity with Panama" where they were received by its Director María Esther la O, who has directed the institution for more than three decades. Attendees learned about the center where children with physical disabilities and developmental disabilities study from preschool to ninth grade. The children participated in a cultural moment dedicated to solidarity with Palestine.
