ACFS in Canberra celebrates the victory of the Cuban people at the United Nations

Canberra, 2 November 2024. The ACFS Canberra branch today celebrated the victory of the Cuban people at the UN and held a fundraising event to support the Agrovivo project in the community of Cienága de Zapata.

The Cuban Ambassador to Australia and members of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Australia were present at the event. The Cuban diplomat thanked the support of the solidarity movement for the struggle of the Cuban people against the blockade. 

The activity culminated with a giant choir of the Guantanmera that moved those present.
