Canberra, 18 February 2024. During the Multicultural Festival, the Chief Minister of the Australian Capital, Andrew Barr, visited the Cuban stand and exchanged with officials of the Cuban Embassy in the southern country.
The Ambassador of the largest of the Antilles explained the main elements presented by Cuba among which there were photographs of the cities of our country declared heritage sites by UNESCO, she was also able to argue about the main manifestations of Cuban culture in particular those declared as intangible heritage as well as the culinary traditions that are part of our culture.
Elements such as the elaboration process of Cuban cigars and the tradition of Cuban Rum were also the subject of the exchange, which took place in a friendly atmosphere within the colorful Festival.
