With active presence in Cuba- Health 2025 the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis
Basseterre, April 25, 2025: The V International Convention "Cuba-Health" held in Havana during this week between the 21st and 25th, attended by 5,000 experts from 88 nations among which are the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Curtis Martin.
Likewise, in the Forum "Cuban Residents Abroad for Health", held in this framework, in which some 300 Cubans from more than 50 countries participated, including two members of the Cuban community of St. Kitts, psychiatrist Victoria Gómez Sánchez and surgeon Ladislao Taquechel Lescaille.
This forum, developed for the first time, was, in the words of the Minister of Health José Ángel Portal Miranda, "only the beginning of a path that calls us to add, share and build together." The Convention constituted a scientific space, of solidarity and alliances for a healthier world.
