The Cuban Embassy in Mongolia held an activity for the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution and to recognize the executives of some local companies that import Cuban tobacco, cigarettes and medicines.
Both parties exchanged views on the status of their bilateral trade relations.
The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer updated them on the economic situation of the country at the end of 2022 and on the challenges and opportunities for trade and foreign investment.
The Cuban diplomat also thanked the businesspeople for their interest and perseverance in trading with the island, despite the difficulties caused by the US blockade, and reiterated the island´s willingness to continue developing bilateral trade and cooperation.
Participants thanked for the activity and the support received in the development of their businesses and reaffirmed their intention to continue trading with Cuban companies.
