Ulaanbaatar. May 19, 2017. With the presence of the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry of Mongolia, Mr. Bayartulga Lkhagvasuren was signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Plant Research of that Ministry and the Cuban company Labiofam Viet Nam for the extensive application of biological rodenticide BIORAT in agriculture. The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said during the signing that that more than 70 thousand hectares are affected today by rodents which cause in Mongolia great damage to their livestock production.
During this week, Lirka Rodriguez Pérez, Director of the company Labiofam Viet Nam, held working meetings with the Plant and Veterinary Research Institutes, as well as with the main companies that commercialize and produce medicines for human and veterinary health. The delegation held meetings at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia with businessmen interested in the different production lines of Labiofam specifically in bioproducts and natural products.
Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción noted that the result of the visit of this delegation constitutes a step forward in the economic relations between both countries and provides the possibility for Cuban companies to continue to make known in the Mongolian market the products and the development of the Cuban biopharmaceutical industry.
As a result of this work, the Vidatox and Biorat products of the Labiofam Group are registered for commercialization in the Mongolian market. Mongolian companies that met with the delegation also showed interest in other production lines of the Labiofam Business Group, leader in veterinary and pharmaceutical biological production.
