Derry, November 2018. As part of the program of activities developed in the city of Derry, Northern Ireland, Aleida Guevara March, was welcomed by a large group of friends from Cuba in the center "Rath Mor", which manages "Creggan Enterprises "

During the fraternal conversation held, Aleida was able to answer many questions from friends who were interested in education and health in Cuba; for the participation of young people in society, for the state of relations between Cuba and the United States, as well as for the aggravation of the economic blockade suffered by the Cuban people.

The situation in Latin America and the Caribbean, in particular the strengthening of solidarity with Venezuela and Nicaragua in the face of the aggression suffered by these two sister nations, was another topic of exchange. Also the collaborative projects developed by the member countries of ALBA.

Aleida referred to Cuba's cooperation in health sector with more than a hundred nations, in which some 400,000 doctors have served, while 35,000 foreign young people have been trained on the island as doctors. He also referred to the reasons that forced our health personnel to interrupt their presence in Brazil, as a direct consequence of the verbal aggressions of the President-elect of that country, against the dignity of Cuban professionals.

The daughter of beloved Commander Che Guevara received a detailed explanation about the various social projects developed by "Creggan Enterprises", a cooperative focused on the attention to social problems, the generation of employment and new opportunities for young people.
