Dublin, October 19, 2018. The second day of the Isla Festival featured the outstanding participation of the Cuban writer and poet Alexis Díaz Pimienta who impregnated the feeling of the festival "Love and Live, Love and Laugh, Life, Love and Humor" he gave us 54 minutes of poetic improvisation loaded with the best Cuban spirit
The improvising poet began his performance with a brief overview of the emergence of this genre and its development in Cuba to this day, very popular among our peasants but well received and enjoyed by all. The public present had the opportunity to be a protagonist of poetic improvisation, suggesting forced feet, phrases and names of characters that the poet wove in beautiful rhyme and logic of thought.
In the farewell Alexis collected from the public some thirty words and names that he linked in a great poetic improvisation, on the way back and forth.
The Cuban Culture could not perhaps celebrate better its Day in Dublin.
Thanks Alexis for such a good Pepper.
We invite you to see the improvisation he dedicated to Dublin.
