Ulaanbaatar. February 23, 2017. At the State Palace, the President of Mongolia Hon. Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj welcomed the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Ulaanbaatar on the occasion of the celebration on next February 27 the arrival the Year of the Rooster according to the lunar calendar of Mongolia. In the ceremony, Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción had the opportunity to exchange with President Elberdorj and convey on behalf of the Cuban government and people warm congratulations and the wish for prosperity for the Mongol people the beginning of New Year.
Accompanied by the President of the Great State Hural M.Enkhbold, Prime Minister J.Erdenebat, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ts.Munkh-Orgil and other officials present at the ceremony, President Elberdorj expressed his gratitude for the presence of all the accredited Ambassadors in such an important celebration for the Mongolian people and government.
In his words of welcome for the advent of the New Year, the President expressed that the New Lunar – “Tsagaan Sar” is the expression of benevolence and the symbol of the unity of the people, also celebrating the arrival of spring, and the beginning of agricultural and livestock production of the country.
