Responding to an invitation from the Director of the Spanish Language Institute "Alborz", María Purificación García Collazo, Cuban Ambassador Vladimir González Quesada gave a lecture at this studies center, located in the north-central part of Tehran.
Based on his personal experience, first as a student and then as a diplomat in the North Africa and Middle East region, the Ambassador explained to the students and teachers present at the meeting the importance of having or forging a vocation to be able of properly practicing a particular profession.
González Quesada also exemplified how, since his current role as Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, he has been able to help promoting bilateral relations between Cuba and Iran in different spheres. This based on the interesting experience and the knowledge acquired in the Persian nation, which has complemented his preparation as a professional.
At the end of his presentation, the Ambassador willingly agreed to answer the questions of the audience, with which he took photos and shared a small buffet.
