Ambassador of Cuba holds fraternal meeting with Father Michael Lapsley

Pretoria, February 16, 2022.- The Ambassador of Cuba in South Africa, Enrique Orta González, held a meeting with Father Michael Lapsley, renowned religious leader, prestigious fighter against Apartheid and president of the Association of Friendship with Cuba in the City of Cape Town (FOCUS).

Father Michael has maintained his tireless work at the forefront of the South African movement of solidarity with Cuba, from the liberation battle of the Five Cuban Heroes, to the present day with great activism in the struggle for the lifting of the blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba.
