Within the framework of a joint visit to the city of Cork, on the occasion of the annual National Famine Commemoration, which was hosted by the University of Cork, a representation of the Ambassadors of GRULAC residing in Ireland, composed of the Chiefs mission of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba and Mexico, held a working meeting with Conor Healy, Executive Director and Katherine Fitzpatric, director of international relations of the Cork Chamber of Commerce.
During the meeting, business and new opportunities that could be opened for Irish and Latin American companies were exchanged, as well as the role that said Chamber of Commerce and the diplomatic representations can play to promote a better reciprocal knowledge in the interest of a greater commercial exchange.
It was agreed to explore alternatives for the future realization of a thematic seminar that could serve as a scenario to present new opportunities for trade and investment.
