Ambassador of Cuba in Ireland meets with the Vice President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.

Dublin, January 15, 2018. The Cuban Ambassador to Ireland, Hugo René Ramos Milanes, paid a courtesy visit to Independent Deputy Maureen O Sullivan, who also serves as Vice President of the Joint Commission on Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defense of the Irish Chamber of Deputies and is also a member of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba.

The meeting that took place in a fraternal environment, served to explore alternatives that contribute to the development of relations between Cuba and Ireland and particularly inter-parliamentary relations.

The Cuban Ambassador updated the parliamentarian on the results of the recently concluded election process in Cuba and the celebration in April of the elections for Deputies to the National Assembly.

The diplomat and the Congresswoman scheduled a new working meeting to be held shortly with the participation of other Deputies.
