Ambassador of Cuba in Ireland receives leaders of the "Cuba Solidarity Forum".

Dublin, April, 2018. The Cuban Ambassador in Ireland, Hugo René Ramos Milanes, was visited by Dr. Kieran Jack McGinley, Coordinator of the “Cuba Solidarity Forum” and by Eira Gallagher, his Secretary.

The Forum brings together members of the SIPTU union one of the main Irish trade union organizations with a long history of friendly relations and solidarity with Cuba, and friends in general of the Cuban Revolution.

The Cuban Ambassador and the solidarity trade unionists held a broad exchange on the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between Cuba and Ireland in many different spheres and outlined projects and actions to enhance them.

The occasion was a testimony of the Cubans' gratitude for the solidarity offered, particularly in the international campaign to end the cruel economic blockade suffered by the Cuban people, as was the participation of the Forum in the liberation of the Cuban Five Heroes.
