THE AMBASSADOR OF CUBA MEETS IN DOMINICA WITH MINISTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Roseau, March 6, 2019. The Ambassador of Cuba in Dominica, Ulises Arranz Fernández, held a working meeting with the Minister of Public Health and Social Services of Dominica, Dr. Kenneth Darroux, today. The meeting was held at the headquarters of that Ministry and also had the presence of the Permanent Secretary, Letitia Lestrade-Wyke and Dr. David Johnson, Medical Chief, both senior officials of that Ministry. Both the Minister Dr. Kenneth and Dr. David graduated in Cuba in the medical career, for which they feel a special affection for our country.

The meeting that took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, as it characterizes the bilateral relations between both countries, allowed to exchange information on topics of interest to both parties, in the field of medical care carried out by the brigade of 51 health professionals. It offers its services in this sister country, as well as in evaluating the possibility of buying medicines from the biopharmaceutical industry in Cuba.
