The ambassador of Cuba to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, delivered a conference on US relations with Latin America and Cuba at the School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University. About 120 students attended.
The diplomat offered an overview of the background of the domination ambitions of the United States to control the destiny of Cuba and Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as its interfering and interventionist policy in the region.
He also referred to the roots and the historical dispute between the Island and the United States, including its aggressions, the blockade to overthrow the Revolution and its extraterritorial application that also affects citizens and entities of Mongolia.
The students were interested in learning about Cuba's role in the region, the measures to update the Cuban economic model and their results, as well as the natural resources and exports of our country.
