The Cuban diplomat also held a separate meeting with the President of the Mongolia Tourism Organization, Mr. Tumurdash BATTULGA, which brings together some 450 individual entities or tourism associations.

With both interlocutors, he discussed tourism and the 43rd International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2025 that will take place from April 30th to May 3 in Havana. Both sides were grateful for the informations shared.

The Ambassador highlighted that Cuba and Mongolia share some tourism modalities in common, such as ecotourism, cultural, historical, adventure, nature and country tourism, in which we could share our respective experiences.

He also noted that Cuba has some experience in training qualified personnel in the different specialties of hospitality and tourism and in foreign language training.

As Mongolia has declared the years 2023-2025 as “Years to visit Mongolia”, FITCuba 2025 is an opportunity for tour operators and travel agencies to attend it and meet with international companies  that will participate in this Fair.

More than 1,200 foreign tour operators and 437 travel agents from 68 countries participated in FITCuba 2024.
