The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia met with executives of a company that produces biological products for livestock

The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia. Jorge Ferrer met with Mr. Enkh-Amar Mijidsuren, Executive Director (CEO) of Biocombinat, a company that produces biological products for livestock farming.

Ms. Dulamsuren Bayan, Head of the Production Technology Department and an engineer graduated in Cuba, also participated.

Both parties exchanged views on the agricultural problems of both countries and posibilities of cooperation. The Ambassador made a presentation on the development and results of  Cuban biotechnology and the leading companies BioCubaFarma and Labiofam that produce about 90% of the Cuba's veterinary medicines. 

The diplomat shared information and invited them to participate in the 11th Conference on Tick and Tick-Transmitted Pathogens and the 3rd edition of the “BioTicks” Congress, which will take place from September 1 to 6, 2024 in Varadero, Cuba.

This Mongolian company that researches, develops and markets, turned 100 years old in 2023, annually produces more than 20 vaccines and diagnostic means for livestock and about 40 million vaccines.
