The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia met with executives of the Institute of Plant Protection Research

The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia. Jorge Ferrer met with Dr. Byambasuren Mijidsuren, Director of the Institute of Plant Protection Research and other scientists.

Both parties talked on the agricultural challenges of both countries and the possibilities of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, including the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the Institute and LabioFam Asia Ltd.

The Ambassador referred to results of Cuban biotechnology for agriculture such as the biorodenticide Biorat, biofertilizers, biostimulants and biopesticides useful for organic agriculture and environmental protection.
