The Ambassador of Cuba to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the Prosecutor General, H.E. Mr. Jargalsaikhan Banzragch. The head of the Department for International Cooperation and Mutual Legal Assistance, DASHMAA Dashnyam, was present.
The diplomat informed him about the XVI International Meeting of Criminal Sciences 2025 and the IV Legality, Law and Society Event, which will take place in Havana, from March 26 to 28.
The Attorney General shared information about the celebration of the regional Forum of Prosecutors that will take place in Ulaanbaatar in June, in the context of which the 30th anniversary of the International Association of Prosecutors will be commemorated.
Both parties talked about the importance and priority of the legal fight against corruption and cybercrime.
They also discussed the work to sign some agreements on mutual legal assistance and bilateral legal cooperation and the possibilities of exchange and cooperation between the Public Prosecutor's Offices of both countries.
The meeting took place in the traditional atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation that characterizes the relations between both countries.
