The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met at the headquarters of the Institute for Strategic Studies of that country with its director, Brigadier General, Begz Davaadorj.
Both parties exchanged on the possibilities and interest in developing exchanges and participation in international academic events of similar institutions of the two countries.
The Director of the Mongolian institute explained the history and structure of that institution, which reports to the National Security Council and has six subordinate centers.
The Institute's six centers are dedicated, among other topics, to studies of international security, economic security, the environment, social policy, and security economics.
On his part, the Ambassador of Cuba offered an overview of the academic centers of his country dedicated to the investigation of the various subjects of study of the Mongolian Institute.
He also referred to the main events on global and strategic issues that will be held in Cuba. He addressed and invited to participate in the VII Conference on Strategic Studies this year and the V International Conference on the Balance of the World in January 2023.
