Ambassador of Cuba participates in the commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of the Australian Parliament Building

Canberra, 8 May, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia participated in the Official Commemoration held on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Australian Parliament Building.

The event was attended by the President of the Senate, Sue Lines and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the legislative body, Milton Dick. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as senators and parliamentarians were also present.

The commemoration also included a performance of Australian Aboriginal rituals and the participation of representatives of the main religious congregations present in Australia.
