Roseau, November 3, 2020. The Cuban Ambassador to Dominica, Ulises Arranz Fernández, participated in the activity for the 42 anniversaries of the Independence of Dominica, held at the Conference Center of the Presidential House, this morning 3 November 2020. Present at the ceremony were the President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, His Excellency Charles A. Savarin, the Prime Minister Honorable Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, the members of the Cabinet, the President of Parliament Joseph Isaac, the leader of the opposition and from the United Workers Party, Lennox Linton, the Diplomatic Corps, as well as invited personalities from the country.
At the end of the event, the Cuban Ambassador reiterated to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Relations with the Diaspora, Honorable Dr. Kenneth Darroux, the messages sent by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz Canel-Bermúdez to his Dominican counterpart and the Prime Minister, as well as the one sent by the Minister of Foreign Affair, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; expressing congratulations for such an important event and the desire to continue strengthening bilateral relations between both countries. The Minister Kenneth thanked the messages and reiterated the same commitment.
