UNISON, with a long tradition of supporting Cuba in all its battles, has maintained the permanent condemnation of the United States government blockade against Cuba.
In her intervention, the Ambassador thanked the permanent solidarity of British trade unionists with our country and highlighted the impact of the intensification of the sanctions of the United States government against Cuba, in the midst of the pandemic and how despite that Cuba has not only dealt with satisfactorily, but has given its internationalist help by sending medical brigades such as Henry Reeve in many regions of the world.
