Ambassador of Cuba in Qatar holds meeting with Director of America of the Qatari Foreign Ministry.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alain Pérez Torres, held a meeting with Mr. Almuhannad Ali Al-Hammadi, Director of the Americas department of the Qatari Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, both parties highlighted the good state of bilateral ties and the positive results of Cuban medical collaboration in Qatar.

Likewise, the Ambassador highlighted the negative impact on the Cuban population of the blockade and the unjust inclusion of our country on the “List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.” For his part, Al-Hammadi confirmed that Qatar will once again support the Cuban Resolution against the Blockade in the United Nations General Assembly.
