AMBASSADOR OF CUBA RECEIVES THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE PARLIAMENT OF SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES.

The Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino received the Vice President of the Parliament of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senator Carlos James.

Senator James, who is also the assistant to the Secretary General of the ULP, recently led a delegation from his Party to Cuba, on an update visit.

The parliamentarian expressed his admiration for the organization and political consciousness of Cuban society, as well as for the patriotism and high level of participation of citizens in the life of the country, through a multiplicity of non-governmental organizations such as the Defense Committee of the Revolution, one of which he visited.

Carlos James proudly referred to the political work of the PCC and the UJC from the base and to the formative work of these organizations, which has successfully guaranteed the historical relief in the direction of the Cuban Revolution.

In the framework of an animated and fruitful conversation, the parties discussed, among other topics, ways to facilitate exchanges between the new generations of Cubans and Vincentians, as well as mutual knowledge of the history, culture and language of both countries.
