Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa holds meeting with the General Secretary of the South African Communist Party

Pretoria, February 1, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, held a working meeting with the General Secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP), Solly Mapaila. Bryan Betancourt Brito, Third Secretary of the Embassy and Lefika Chetty, member of the SACP International Relations committee, also participated.

In the exchange, both parties advocated for the deepening of partisan ties and was recognized the strength of the solidarity ties between Cuba and South Africa. The Cuban diplomat thanked the General Secretary for the unrestricted support of the South African communists in favor of lifting the blockade against our country.
