Ambassador of Cuba in South Africa received a delegation from the SACP Greater Tshwane District.

Pretoria, November 17, 2022.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, received today a delegation from the SACP Greater Tshwane District. The main representatives of the organization in the district participated in the meeting, as well as the leadership of the Youth Communist League and representatives of the veteran’s committee. A representation of Embassy officials was present on the Cuban side.

The exchange was propitious to recall milestones in the common history between South Africa and Cuba, as well as to honor leaders such as Fidel, Mandela and Che, who tirelessly fought for the liberation of southern Africa. Likewise, the criminal blockade the United States keeps on the people of Cuba was condemned.

The Ambassador highlighted the need to defend the Marxist ideology by the communist militants, as well as the importance of guiding, accompanying, teaching young people, who, as Fidel said, are the future, the continuity of our ideas.
