April 20, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, started a visit to the South African province of Limpopo this Thursday, accompanied by several officials from the diplomatic mission.
As part of the working program, the Ambassador held a fruitful meeting with the provincial Premier, Mr. Stanley Mathabatha, with whom he discussed the main issues of bilateral relations and the presence of Cuban collaborators in the province. Both parties highlighted the long and close relationship between the two countries while advocating the diversification and strengthening of cooperation.
Several members of the Provincial Executive Committee, such as the MEC for health, Phophi Ramathuba and representatives of the South African Communist Party (SACP) and the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) from the province also participated in the meeting.
