Pretoria, December 17, 2021.- The Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Lesotho, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, made a working visit to the National University of that country.
At that center of high studies, he held a productive working meeting with its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kananelo E. Mosit, in which other senior officials of the University also participated, including the Registrar Liteboho Maqalika Lerotholi; the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Mohaeka Raselimo and the Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Makomosela Qhobela.
During the exchange, the Basothos directives recognized the excellent work being done at the University by Cuban professors Dr. Ricardo Pardo Hernández and Dr. Luis Arias Rodríguez, from the Cuban University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences "Manuel Fajardo”. The specialists from the Island are designing the program for the start in Lesotho of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Sports and the creation of a Faculty of Sports Sciences, which the aforementioned University currently lacks.
Subsequently, the Cuban Ambassador made a tour of the university center, which has an enrollment of approximately 10,000 students.
