Tehran, December 26, 2024: The ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba in Tehran, Jorge Fernando Lefebre Nicolás, presented on Wednesday the Copies of the Letters that accredited him to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
The Iranian Foreign Minister offered the Cuban diplomat a cordial welcome and assured him that he will receive all the support in the development of his functions, wishing him many successes in the fulfillment of his mission.
The ambassador-designate, for his part, highlighted the excellent state of bilateral relations, based on high-level political dialogue and solid ties of fraternal solidarity.
The Cuban Ambassador took the opportunity to denounce the U.S. blockade and the unjust inclusion of Cuba in the arbitrary List of State Sponsors of Terrorism and thanked the historic support of the Iranian authorities for Cuba in on this important issue.
