Ambassador of Egypt visits the Cuban Embassy in Seychelles

Victoria, 11 october 2023._ Cuban Ambassador Martha Hernández Caneiro, received today H.E. Mr. Wael Nasr Eldin Attiya, who recently presented his credentials as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Seychelles, with residence in Kenya.

During the cordial meeting, both parties reaffirmed the historic ties of friendship, respect and the will to continue strengthening economic and cooperation ties between the two countries. 

Both countries are currently focused on strengthening cooperation in sectors such as culture, education, health, innovation and scientific research.

Egypt was the first African and Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with Cuba, on September 5th, 1949.
