(Doha, October 8, 2025) – His Excellency Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, Director General of Hamad Medical Corporation, received Ambassador Enrique Enríquez at the institution's headquarters.
The meeting was an opportunity to review the state of bilateral cooperation in the health sector, which exemplifies the strong ties of friendship and cooperation that unite both countries.
Hamad Medical Corporation is the leading provider of secondary and tertiary healthcare in Qatar and one of the leading institutions of its kind in the region. It currently manages 15 specialized hospitals, including the Cuban Hospital of Dukhan, which opened in January 2012. Hundreds of Cuban healthcare professionals also work at the Aisha bint Hamad Al-Attiyah Hospital, which opened in November 2022 south of the town of Al-Khor, and at other hospitals in Doha.
