The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, presented the Greek translation of the book "History of Cuba" published by Almyra Publications. During the event, a short documentary film on Cuba was screened at the House of Arts and Letters in Paphos.
The presentation was addressed by the President of the House of Arts and Letters of Paphos, Dr. Stelios Sofoklis and the Secretary General of the Cyprus-Cuba Friendship Association, Mrs. Vera Polycarpou.
The Ambassador presented the book and answered questions from the audience, eager to know the Cuban reality. For about an hour the Ambassador commented on the negative impact of the criminal and genocidal blockade imposed by the US government on Cuba for more than 60 years (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
