Tehran, September 30, 2020. The Ambassadors of the Republic of Cuba and the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellencies Chang Hua and Alexis Bandrich Vega, held a fraternal meeting at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Tehran during which they exchanged on the excellent state of bilateral relations between our peoples, governments, and parties on the recent 60th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations.
The meeting was timely for both diplomats to reaffirm their willingness to continue strengthening high-level political dialogue, mutual trust, cooperation and economic trade relations, as well as coincidences in the multilateral sphere. 
China and Cuba established diplomatic relations on September 28, 1960, and the passage of six decades has demonstrated the value and future of a solid relationship between two socialist nations, based on equality, affection and mutual respect.
