ANC Parliamentary Caucus ratifies support for Cuba

Cape Town, 21 May 2026. — During a visit to the South African Parliament, the Cuban Ambassador, Fakri Rodríguez, met with members of the ANC Parliamentary Caucus, who also form part of an International Relations study group within the National Assembly.

The exchange was aimed at strengthening bilateral ties. Both sides expressed sincere appreciation for the historic solidarity that has characterised Cuba–South Africa relations and reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying ties through parliamentary channels.

The Embassy thanks the ANC Parliamentary Caucus for the warm reception and for its willingness to continue working towards strengthening solidarity and bilateral cooperation.
