We have spent difficult days listening to the news about the monster Irma that has affected several sister islands in the Caribbean, and it is even more difficult when death touches us so close.
We can never be resigned to the loss of human lives. To the relatives of those who died during the hurricane we want to express our deepest condolences. Know that we accompany you in your pain and may you find in your hearts peace and comfort at this time.
It is time for recovery, which we know is long and costly in a country that has been blocked for decades. The struggle continues. It is time to push our country forward by teaching the world once again that despite being a small country; our people are made up of very big hearts.
