“The members of the Mongolian Association of Graduates in Cuba have learned with deep sorrow of the massive fire of several oil tanks that began on the night of last August 5 at the fuel base in the port of Matanzas, which has left an unfortunate balance of numerous wounded, disappeared and considerable material losses.
We share the deep pain of the Cuban people for the loss of human lives, the missing firefighters and those injured in this fire caused by nature.
We express our most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the missing and our sincere wishes for the speediest and most complete recovery of the injured.
In these difficult hours for the Island, we express our sympathy and solidarity with the Cuban people who welcomed us as their sons to study at their universities together with their own sons, thanks to the solidary cooperation and generosity of Cuba. Cuba is not alone!
We join the call made by various organizations and personalities in this hour to lift the economic blockade against Cuba.”
