The Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba expresses its solidarity with Cuba.

Letter from the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba dated April 18, 2020.

"The Covid-l9 pandemic has spread to every country in the world. The need arises for us to call for unity and join forces to overcome this pandemic facing humanity. At this time it is important to resolve the problem quickly, efficiently and collectively where the lives of millions of people are at risk and extremely difficult conditions have arisen.

This time where human life is measured by seconds, we will overcome this pandemic only when everyone in the world lives with human ethics. Blaming nations and international organizations for revenge and withholding aid, support and funding is an unwise decision and will bring negative consequences. Making policy will not improve anything; it will only worsen the difficult situation that exists.

Today the entire world faces an extremely difficult stage therefore it is time for all of us to unite and fight together. The consequences of the blockade policy seriously affect the Cuban people. Cuba is based on its own resources and has a limited economy; even so it sends doctors and specialists to more than 10 countries expressing its solidarity and friendship. It is one of the few countries that understood that the only way to overcome this pandemic is through joint efforts.

So now we need to unite, this is not the time for hostility, cooperate instead of blame. The hostile and cruel policy of the United States Blockade towards Cuba that continues for several decades must cease."

President G. Ganbayar.
