Association of South African Graduates in Cuba rejects US presence in Latin America and the Caribbean

Pretoria, September 20, 2025.- The Association of South African Graduates in Cuba (CAASA) issued a message of solidarity with Cuba, Venezuela, and the rest of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean following recent threats from the US administration.

The statement condemns the US military presence in the Caribbean Sea and surrounding areas and calls for the withdrawal of troops. At the same time, it demands the elimination of unilateral sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela.
