Association of South African Graduates in Cuba in solidarity with the island

Pretoria, 19 July 2025. The Association of South African Graduates in Cuba (CAASA) condemned the new measures announced by the current US administration against senior officials in the Cuban Communist Party and government.

The organisation issued a public statement expressing its solidarity with the island, in which it demanded an end to the blockade, the lifting of unilateral sanctions against the Cuban people and the removal of Cuba from the list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism.
