Association of South African students who graduated in Cuba express their rejection to the blockade.

Pretoria, 31 October 2023 - The Cuban Alumni Association of South Africa (CAASA) expressed their firm rejection to the blockade and the inclusion of Cuba on the spurious and arbitrary list of countries sponsoring terrorism in a strong statement of solidarity with Cuba and its people.

The statement calls on the US government to put an end to this cruel and illegal policy, which for more than 60 years has affected Cubans. It also calls on the countries of the world to denounce the blockade and support Cuba in its just struggle against what has been and still is the main obstacle to the island's development.

Furthermore, it recognises the humanist and internationalist work of the Cuban Revolution.
