The ‘From Australia to Cuba with Love’ Campaign Begins Join the campaign against the US blockade of Cuba while you travel!
Brisbane, 9 September 2025. Now in its fourth year, the ‘From Australia to Cuba with Love’ campaign has begun, this time with the aim of raising funds for urgent medical supplies and raising public awareness of the current challenges facing Cubans, who have been living under the yoke of US sanctions for more than six decades.
Since it began, participants have walked, cycled, run, swum and even danced to collectively cover more than 14,886 km (the distance between the capitals of each country, Canberra and Havana) each year, raising more than £40,000 for essential medical and agricultural equipment.
