In Botswana, photo exhibition “Fidel at 90”.

Cuban Ambassador, Patricia Lazara Pego Guerra, declared officially open the exhibition “Fidel at 90: rarely known photos”, in the Art Gallery of the Botswana National Museum, where it will stay during a month.

To an audience of a hundred people, the key note speaker, Dr. Jeff Ramsay, historian and Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Office of President Seretse Khama Ian Khama, expressed “to be both humbled and honoured to have been asked to speak on this occasion, where we pay tribute to one of the true titans of our lifetime, the late former President of the Republic of Cuba Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz”.  He finalized by saying “The revolutionary has passed on, but his legacy surrounds us”.
